Mimicry

Monsters roam the futuristic-fantasy world of Krys, spreading chaos everywhere they went. These monsters were known as Viles, black sludge-like creatures who could manipulate things of all sorts. Savages, human descendants of the ancient gods who'd manifested unique abilities through the arrival of the Viles, were brought to a training facility to learn to fight the Viles.
Abandoned and raised at a local orphanage of Gord, a small and peaceful town near the capital city of Krys, Ash Fayre was a 16 year old Savage. Not only did the blood of the gods run in his veins, Ash was the son of the creator god Harukan. However, instead of inheriting the rare ability of Creation, Harukan's main power, Ash inherits the creator god's least stable power; Mimicry. No one in the history of Savages had ever gotten the ability of Mimicry, and many looks down on Ash because of his power, thinking it dishonorable and useless to 'steal' other powers. Ash has mainly kept of trouble, until he was labelled as the 'perpetrator' in a gang fight. In exchange for freedom, Ash was forced to attend Savage Training Academy, or STA for short, where he meets Willow Yu.
Willow Yu was the daughter of an extremely wealthy family of nobles, wielding the unique ability of Voice. Her ability allows her to manipulate her voice to a certain extend, and if used correctly may control the minds of people. For years she wanted to get out of her family's shadow, and make a path of her own. Seizing the chance of attending STA, Willow goes to the school all excited, intrigued by the one people call 'Shadow Thief'.
However, as the two grow closer together, a deeper conspiracy unravels, and soon Ash and Willow will start to question everything they know and have been taught. How far will the two go to protect the world and their loved ones, even if it means sacrificing each other?
