I skipped happily across the road, but suddenly, time seemed to slow down, I turned my head away from my house and was blinded by the headlights of a huge truck, the frequency of its honk getting increasingly ear splitting, my smile evaporated and cold shivers ran all across my body. All I remember after that is me lying on the wet concrete road with the noise of several honking cars and people gathering all around me, my eyes got heavier and everything went black after that...
