"Please, let me go," he said as he tried to break free from my grip.
"Please...no," I begged.
I was on the verge of tears.
Time spent with him were the best moments of my life.
He gave meaning to the word 'love.'
"I can't love you until you accept who you are," he said and pulled his hands from my grip.
"You know I love you," I said as I once again tried to held his hand but he walked backward.
Away from me.
"I love you too," he said and I saw tears formed in his eyes.
"Then why are you going away from me?" I asked.
"Because you don't love yourself as you are. You love the version of yourself you made to stay in this society," he said.
"And if you can't love yourself you can't love me," he said and walked away from me.
