Amira's true identity is oblivious to everybody, even to herself. She grows up being taunted by her sisters who think she's nothing but a frail, unable to shift, royal draconian, when in fact her true strength and power is being restrained by the curse her very own mother bestows upon her.

With the misfortunes she gets around her fellow draconian and the yearning for truth, she stumbles upon the mortal world where she meets Kian Aiden Lawriski, a noble disguised as a commoner, whose family unexpectedly holds the answer she's been longing for. But with the unlocking of one truth comes the others.

The story of the past will hunt her but a much worse thing is about to happen-the invasion of dragons in the mortal world. They return to reclaim what was stolen from them and to eventually slaughter the culprit.
