Mercury is just another superhuman in a world of superheroes and supervillains, but he doesn't bother picking a side. After getting fired from his job he decides to take up a bounty to kill a small villain wanted for theft, but where will this lead him.
The Pawn's Game is a fictional story about an unemployed man named Mercury, picking up a job as an assassin to make a living. His power isn't one that can come in useful half of the time, but he has to learn how to take down a target if he wants to stay alive.
