The year is 2080. Most of the world has since been left in ruins after endless wars and plagues. Groups of people run entire countries. Government and order in the world have ceased to exist. Amidst this, twelve teenagers are chosen for a program of which the details they do not know. Gathered from across the planet, they are given a choice: Do as the highest class says or die. Having made a choice, the twelve are sent to a place much different from their own; a place where the world is orderly and full of thriving people. The twelve are left to believe that they can either do something or do nothing-though they aren't quite sure what it is they have to do, or how to accomplish it. But, wait-these twelve have no idea what they're really heading into; nor do they know the truth.
