People change.
Things change.
Everything changes.
The only thing that doesn't change is.. change itself.
And probably those that are just purely what they are and cannot be turned into anything else, more or less.

Harlee Embers is just an ordinary girl; simple and plain, as she sees herself. When she was still a baby, she was taken away by her dad because her mother's parents disapproved of their relationship. She was raised on an island, away from her other relatives and away from the city. But when the time came she had to come back to her birthplace, to the exact house her mother had lived in.. She tackles the changes of her life alone. High School. Boys. The IT girls. Basically, everything about living in a city. But does that actually include an eerie fortune teller and an ancient mirror?

When her whole world of being plain and alone flips over, what has the new world have in for her?

It will only take a little glance in the mirror.
