After Madelyn’s parents died in a plane crash eight years ago, the day before her ninth birthday she has been living with her aunt Gianna. Madelyn tends to spend her summer days in the woods behind her house where she usually just walks around and ‘talks’ to her parents. There were both botanists and were on their way back from an Argentine jungle when the plane they were on crashed. Madelyn feels that through the plants and trees, she is still somehow close and connected to her parents. What happens when one day she falls asleep in the woods and wakes up tied up and gagged in a dark and empty room unable to move or scream for help? Terrified, she has to find a way out and back to freedom. Will she, or will she be stuck a prisoner forever?
