Our Van, Our Hand, and the Valley of Sand

Calvina thinks she knows the world. Her ego and self-preservation leads her to hate all the people who seem to live 'normal' lives. Her disdain grows even further with the rich and upper class people of society. However, her world view will soon be challenged.

When she sees a kidnapping, Calvina finds herself abducted as well through virtue of being a witness. Through her forced captivity, Calvina must join forces with the rich boy who she saw be tied up, all in the hopes of escaping and surviving their captors.

On their adventure to who knows where the van is taking them, Calvina and the boy must survive the hardships along the way, all the while uncovering the mysteries of a religious cult, a rumored valley of sand, and why it all links back to the trio that pursues them.
