In a world where having a magical ability was considered a great gift, nine year old Himari Alluna had been raised to think otherwise. But after the death of her mother, Alluna decided that she didn't deserve to live while they were all dead. But that split second before her body hit the ground made her realize that a decision like this couldn't be taken lightly, even if she never thought she had in the first place.

Fortunately, pro-hero Aizawa Shota had managed to save her, and after finding out about her orphan situation, offered to take her in as her temporary guardian. Now navigating the world of being homeschool at the famous academy UA High School, surrounded by heroes that she'd always been taught were enemies, Alluna wasn't sure what to think.

It seemed that for once in her life, everything was starting to work out. But fragility of a perfect life wasn't to be underestimated. One tiny incident could let everything come tumbling down. And one tiny incident was all it took.

As Alluna's painful past got unraveled little by little, she was forced to choose a side. Would the heroes ever accept her?

Or would she have to go to the villains?
