(I wrote this story when I was in 8th grade so don't hate me for it, I know it's pretty bad but I was proud of it. So just warning you.)
Jj is having a hard time at home, Will is abusive to her and no one on the team knows. She has been struggling a lot but she won't open up to anyone. She wondered if she should open up to her best friend Emily but she is scared of what she might think of her.

I wrote this story a while ago and it was very hard to write, but very healing to read back afterwords. It is Emily and reader centric. It does use Y/N, I have tended away from that since then, but my first two Emily fics are written with the second person, Y/N, style. The reader is written as she/her. No smut, just angst, depressing / cathartic shit, and friendship. I will give fair warning, this story is heavily about SH. If this is triggering for you, please don't read this, or you can come back and read it another time, when you feel capable of taking it on. I want my stories to be captivating and cathartic, not to cause harm or damage to my readers. I write to vent my own frustrations and to live through my characters, being comforted, validating my own feelings, etc... Many of my stories, as my blog may suggest, will be VERY dark. I knew what was coming later tonight, not only at home, but on the way there. I knew that reacting right now would just make it worse though. So I kept quiet and pretended that I was not dreading when I would be alone with the man that stood beside me, wondering when it became so normal to do so. Jason and Alicia have the perfect relationship from the outside looking in, but Alicia has kept her wounded spirit and body hidden well. After another one of Jason's violent rages that is impossible to hide, Alicia is finally able to get away from the abuse though. Jemily or just Emily?
⚠️PLEASE READ⚠️ PSA: I was in 8th grade when I wrote this and I believe it is very poorly done. Go ahead and read. I don't have the patience to rewrite. I have heard from several comments that it is funny so that is something to look forward to. MAJOR TRIGGER WARNINGS: I know there are several mentions etc of self harm. I believe there is also mention of sexual assault and the R word. There may also be mentions of EDs but I don't recall as I haven't read this story in years.
