**THE STROKES FAN FIC**

Maya Sørensen, a young NYU student, runs into a group of tight-knit guys. This group including Nick Valensi and Julian Casablancas, two people that had previously fallen in love with her.

Taking over the course of 7 years (1997-2004), this story is about love, hate, and everything in between. Maya finds herself in a love triangle between Nick Valensi and Julian Casablancas, but as she falls in love, she also falls upon family secrets that will make her question everything.

(I hadn't read the book before I started writing this but there is a surprising amount of similarities between my story and @happylittlehelders "Wish I wasn't so shy" which was written way before this. It wasn't the inspiration but the book is really good, check it out!)

*Story is undergoing major editing at the moment, I started writing in late 2020 - early 2021*

Musical sensation Chase Atlantic dives head first into a world tour and belly-flops straight into the turbid depths of melancholy. Dopamine and its impending crash were tethered to the ritual of playing live and the members of the band settled comfortably with the idea of stifling it with one last party to conclude the exquisite catastrophe of which was touring- save for Christian Anthony. Mitchel Cave strikes a bargain for he's fluent in the art of persuasion and knows how to get what he wants, especially when it comes to his younger counterpart whose fickle morals roll to whichever corner he's tilted towards by the hands of the older. However, Mitchel is blissfully and recklessly so unaware that dormant over the horizon lay one big disaster waiting to be roused awake by a wave carrying a grand buffet of substances, a race of reputations, connections kept in the past, and bottled up emotions sizzling to their boiling point all striving to entangle the man in a messy web of lies where superstars go supernova. And as the star ceases to burn, the black hole carves it hollow. ---------- Please do not reupload this anywhere. ❗️This fanfic also exists on AO3 if you would rather read it on there!! Jade is the typical high school loner. That is, until she meets a special someone and his wild group of friends, and is thrown into a life she'd never expected to have; roadtrips? Parties? Romance, perhaps? (This was my first Strokes fic, so obviously it's pretty badly written and quite cringeworthy to read, but if you manage to read up to the halfway point, I promise you it gets more bearable to read from there!)
