A series of bad luck followed Steve one morning, ultimately leading him to get robbed, fired from his job, and then kicked out of his apartment.

Fortunately, he found a decent apartment that was unusually cheap. He gathered up what he could and moved in. The only thing that he has to worry about is finding a job to make ends meet.

Or so it seems.

Moving into this apartment complex brings another load of problems. Just when he thought it couldn't get any worse, he received a notice that he would have a roommate. Steve thought he could at least make a friend and pay the rent at half the price but that's where the problem is.

Not only does his new roommate have no way to pay the rent, but he also seems weird. No one but Steve notices his unnatural features. He is sure that he isn't going crazy and that his roommate named Herobrine is definitely not a human being!

By some miracle, the two became acquaintances of some sort. Steve began helping Herobrine, showing him how to live like a normal human being. He doesn't know it but Herobrine is slowly opening himself to him. Even Steve himself doesn't know that he was falling for him.

Perhaps he really is going crazy after all?

Steve has to navigate his feelings AND help Herobrine become as human as possible which was much more easier said than done.
