There was something between them, had always been.

Maybe it started the day they were playing together or the day they were protecting each other.

Sumaiya Fatma Khan didn't knew the reason why her heart always goes haywire whenever she is with 'him'.

Saif Ahmad Khan had always been too busy to give any heed to unknown feelings brewing in his heart.

He doesn't want to accept.

She couldn't tell.

But whatever may happen, realization will soon dawn upon them and the Ehsas of their feelings will change the pattern of their lives.

Hearts will break, tragedies will strike but at last love will conquer everything.

"...Don't show that you cared about my happiness, when you actually didn't. I doubt if you ever truly did care." I whispered the last part menacingly at him, clenching my jaw as my eyes filled with tears. The way his face hardened and his eyes dilated, I assumed he heard me as a muscle in his jaw ticked. I lowered my pointing finger and wiped my tears furiously from the back of my hand, looking away. "It's good that you got to know about everything before this marriage facade got out of our hands. Now, you'll realize that you never had any feelings for me and it was just an infatuation." He scoffed, looking away. His adam's apple bobbed as his veins popped out lividly. "Don't you dare insult my love, Wali! My love for you was so pure. You know what? You don't even deserve it." I told him, swallowing the lump in my throat. My voice came out harsh as my breath grew thin and ragged. I tried to control myself, reminding there were people in this house. Ya Allah, who was this man standing in front of me? ----- Meet Wali Rehman Khan and Aleyha Shaikh. They both grew up together, they were cousins by fate but best friends by choice. Wali had always been overprotective of her and deeply cares for her, fulfilling her every demand. She thought he loves her the way she loves him but how can he love when he hates even the thought of love? She had believed he would always be there for her but how wrong she was! He left and was back after five painful years. She no longer was the same teenager he last saw or knew, she had changed and changed for good. But still, around him, she didn't know how to feel. She tried but her heart was no longer in her control and she paid a heavy cost due to that. Was the payment worth it? Was it all along Allah's plan? -------------

"Why? When he holds your hand you don't tell him to back off, Huh?" Tightening his grip on her, Murad seethed. The pain which he was causing her was intolerable, tears fell down from those hazel orbs on her pale cheeks as she wished for a certain pair of sea blue eyes to come and save her from this tormentor. "He is my husband! He has every right on me as I have on him." Hazaan yelled at him as anger started welling up in her body, slowly replacing the fear. "Oh, Accha. Now, he is your husband then who am I to you? Did you forget what we had.." the words got strangled in his throat and a loud noise took place in the room making a pin drop silence which shocked the daylights of Murad as he never expected the timid, extrovert and bubbly girl to strike him hard, across the face. "You were a mistake and you'll always be one! I was so blind in your trap which you called 'love' to not see a cold blooded brute." Hazaan gritted out the words not knowing what the outcome of her honesty would cost her. Fury and rage was all he felt towards her. He jerked off his grip on her and pushed Hazaan to the wall harshly, making her yelp as her head started throbbing in pain. Murad wrapped his fingers on her throat and pressed his fingers more firmly which caused her to squirm in his hold for the oxygen. His next words were not for which Hazaan was prepared for. "You are mine Hazaan! YOU.ARE.MINE. If I can't have you then no one can..." were the last words heard by her before everything went black.

Heer Qureshi and Salaar Riaz have been best friends and next-door neighbors since they were in diapers. Life couldn't get any better for the pair when they both fall in love, but there's one problem: Salaar realizes he loves Heer while Heer's heart gets stolen by her very own Ranjha, Kamran Khan. Will it be too late for Salaar to confess his feelings? And what will happen when Heer's dreams are destroyed by the one she wove them with, Kamran? Two relationships are put to trial and hearts get broken by those we least expect. Which will prove more enduring in this azmaish-e-ishq, or test of love? Upon hearing the rustling nearing the window, Heer lifted her bridal lehenga and turned around, exclaiming with surprise, "Salaar?!" "Mat kar usse shaadi (Don't marry him.)." He stated, eyes wet and bloodshot. Her face scrunched up, "Kya? (What?)" "Mat kar. (Don't.)" "Lekin kyun?! (But why?!)" "Kyunki main- (Because I-)" 🎶"Sachi mohabbat shayad wahi hai jis mein junoon hai, par do dilon ki yaari mein bhi toh kitna sukoon hai." "True love is perhaps that in which there is passion, but also in the friendship between two hearts there is so much peace." 🎶 - Channa Mereya | Amitabh Bhattacharya | Arijit Singh *Note: While the characters in this story are Muslim and there is no mature content, the story is not of halal love.
