Somehow, Alex escaped death and was followed home to England accompanied by knights that pledged their fealty to the brave Alex. After finding out what has happened to Nottingham in their absence. Appalled at the changes made by the sheriff they sought to find one known as The Man in Black. Alex's honor, integrity, and vow to King Richard makes him stay in Nottingham to right the wrongs that he has already seen. It's only when the secrets are revealed that changes can be made.
