The Stroll Down Booklane

Anna is seventeen living in a small house on the outskirts of New York with her father. When she was fourteen, she made a promise to her mother to fulfill her dream for her, a dream to become an author. Anna's mother then disappears only a day after. Depression and confusion cloud Anna's life and mind. But even in her misery, she still believes deep down that her mother did not leave her, but rather that she simply vanished off the face of the earth without a single trace.
After three years of waiting for her mother to come back, Anna begins to realize that her mother left her for a reason, but to discover that reason, she must attempt to fulfill her promise. Exactly how she will do that remains a mystery, but she receives a text on her phone one night. The text contains an address to a place called Booklane. She follows it, in hopes to find what she was looking for, but what she finds is much more than she ever asked for . . .
