Ever since he was a kit, they knew he was different. Nobody knew what was wrong with him. He never played with the other kits. He simply stayed in the shadows, pacing, glaring and lashing out at whoever came to close to him.
Most apprentices were excited to be Warriors, wanting to be leader. He just wanted everyone dead. He thought his clanmates were fake, just imposters of those who once were.

(I cringe at this every day now. It's not too horribly written, but it is rushed and disorganized. Please know this isn't a representation of my current work.) Two kits, same pelts, opposite souls. Blessedkit, born to ShadowClan parents, discovers quickly that he is quite "special" in the eyes of his Clanmates. His brother, Rottenkit, is presumably a filthy-hearted cat who would have become a murderer if he had been allowed to be, and therefore was murdered in the womb by StarClan.
