Makoto Naegi, Ultimate Lucky Student, and his alter, Nozomi, Ultimate Assassin.
Nozomi is known as the Hopebringer to his clients, due to the fact that he carves that specific kanji into each of his victims.
Most people see the Hopebringer as some faceless entity, killing for cash and getting away from the police every time.
When Nozomi is hired to kill Byakuya Togami and Makoto wakes up in Hope's Peak with the simple instruction to kill his fellow students, things begin to go downhill.
