Bella Potter has always been second.

From the beginning of her life, she was second, brought into the world as the second child, an addition to an already created family. At the Dursleys' she got the handed down hand-me-downs, only given to her when her brother was through with them. When strange letters started arriving, none of them were for her. No, hers came second, too. And, when she entered the world where the letters belonged, she quickly learned that life in her brother's shadow was only just beginning.

She became used to being second.

Now, though, she's beginning to learn that maybe there's something about her that stands out, too. Maybe it isn't the 'Harry' part of her brother's name that makes him special, no, maybe it's the part they both share.

Maybe it's the 'Potter.'
