So I'm Emma, a thirteen year old girl, and like most of the girls my age, I started liking guys. There is this kid in my 8th grade history class, his name is Sean and he is new. But he's not normal, in fact he is very different from everybody, but at the same time he's almost exactly like me. Why does this have to happen to me? I want to love him, but I can't. I don't what to get hurt. I just don't feel safe when I'm around him. He's not human, and eventually i may not be one either.

I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes.
