Lutfanessa Jana has never belonged. Or at least that's what she tells herself. Brooding, snarky and obsessive to a fault; sometimes, Lutfanessa knows nothing better than to see everything with a very critical eye. A characteristic feature which she believes puts her in a starkly contrasting position to her sister, who is the softer and lovelier part of all things that Lutfanessa has ever wanted. She finds herself in a constant Dostoyevskian predicament as she tries to find her place in life, and most importantly find her place next to her sister Lalitha; which brings her to the question- where is her place? Is it the place right next to Lalitha, as her equal; or is it in her shadows, obscured forever as a marionette to her own insecurities? The small seaside town of Havenbrook, with the effortlessly charming Beckett and the subtly mysterious Oliver, might just hold the key to unfurling Lutfanessa's little predicament. • • • 🌊 all the graphics included in the book have been done by me. the pictures, although, have been taken from pinterest and belong to their rightful owners. 🌊 please note that this book is exclusive only to wattpad for now, so if you see it somewhere else, please inform me! ● ● ● ©2025 to Aishi Mitra @aishixwrites

Love in an ice cream shop? Violet Davis thinks the summer after her senior year in high school will be one of the best in her young teenage life, until her mom tells her to get a summer job. Spending all those hot summer nights at the local dairy bar, scooping ice cream for sticky, sweaty toddlers and grandparents is not her idea of a good time-that is until she falls for the bad boy co-worker, the one everyone tells her to stay away from. Let's just say the ice cream in the walk-in freezer isn't the only thing that will need to cool down, especially when we add a boy from high school to the mix; sweet, cute, with a big....heart. Violet's love life becomes just like her favorite soft-serve...twisted. ** This book is rated Mature! If you blush easily, you have been warned. Also, I swear like a sailor...my characters do too. ** ** I like to incorporate music with my chapters, I will often note where I think you should begin a song, this is just a suggestion :) The YouTube video for the music is posted at the top of each chapter. There is also a Spotify Playlist: https://tinyurl.com/4ujb3fd2 ** **All locations in this book, except for the ice cream shop and the work places of other characters are real places. I have taken some liberties with the hours of these businesses, but they are all brick and mortar places that can be visited.**
