From the Deep (Levi x Mermaid!reader)

As one of the last deep sea mermaids of your kind you find solace in the isolation you have become familiar with. But part of you still longs to venture out into the world and see how it has changed since the rise of humanity. When an injured man washes up on "your" shore, and you help him, you soon find yourself trapped in a net that can't get out of. But do you really want to escape? Or do you want to build a new life far different from the lonely one you have always know?

This work was loosely inspired by the short comic "The Mermaid of Lilly lake" done by @andivart on Instagram.

I just write for fun so please don't take my work too seriously.
