Tale of tears is about the unfinished story of the book "Miracles and Magic". It embarks the journey of Maryam Sufyan, Yousuf Khalid and Mehara Siddiqie to find happiness, overcome struggles and make sacrifices that they wouldn't regret. It also tells us about Yahya Ishaq's new found happiness, only that its a happiness which he can't have and he'll have to walk through so many difficult paths to grab hold on to it.
