Rimuru was taking a break after the entire orc invasion incident and decided to take a stroll through the forest. While walking along he runs into a monster that was run out of their home by the orcs and lost their entire family to the attack. With nowhere to call home and no family to go back to, Rimuru accepts the monster into the new and growing town as his adopted daughter. The story will follow the main story beats of the light novel, but events will be changed due to a close bond forming between Rimuru and the new monster. The bond will be explored along with the world around the two of them, giving more depth to the characters and allowing them to move outside of the main story's narrative. This is my first time writing something like this so I apologies if there are any glaring issues you may notice. With that said if you see something that could use improving, I invite you to drop a comment and let me know about it so the story can be improved for everyone. The Mature rating is mostly just to cover my bases as I don't know where things will go as the story progresses. In this fanfic, this story will briefly discuss Rimuru's mindset (which passive & pacifistic ). This new version of Rimuru will have proper ruler's attitude and not allows apologizing for the smallest mishaps. But don't worry will still have his personality but there will slight improvements. ( let's be honest he deserves respect) In in my personal opinion, I never did understand why Japanese animes allows that 'no-back bone main character' who even lets his subordinates boss him around a little when his is supposed to be the master!!! smh . And so can rimuru go back in a time unharmed ? And what will be the consequences of it ? In this fan-fiction, Rimuru will be OP, respectful, serious when needed, and goofy.
