In the year 3064, a dystopian post-apocalyptic future in the nation of Davenlee , where a boy and a girl ages between 13 - 18 from each of the nation's 10 Districts are chosen annually as "tributes" and forced to compete in The Death Games, an elaborate televised fight to the death. 16 yrs old Olivia Hasten from District 10 is selected as tribute. With her district's male tribute, 16 yrs old Kris Clarkson, Olivia travels to the Capitol to train and compete in the games.
