She was only 8 years old.
8 years old and she saw her mother get killed by a drive by. From that day poor Nova has been traumatized and has been to foster home to foster home. At the age of 12, Nova has anger and trust issues, never letting anyone into her life, and wanting to be alone.
What Nova didn't know is that she wasn't alone. She had not one, not two, but SEVEN half-brothers . It came to a shock to Nova to know she had brothers this whole time and is just now hearing about it after her 9th foster father is found dead and killed. She has no choice now to go to California and live with her seven brothers. They are not very fond of the idea of her living with them, but they are just following orders from 'someone'.
Nova is still not going to let her guard down with her new so called ' family'. The longer she stays with them she notices things that are ......strange.
