"There is no need for all that now don't you think?" he laughed, "But I appreciate the effort."
"Well at least I finally know who you really are now," I laughed awkwardly trying to ignore the tension looming in the air. Not only is he a vampire but he is the infamously ruthless King of them all. But for some reason he was kind to me which probably holds a lot worse intensions than it's letting on at the surface.
Harry hummed in response before holding his elbow out for me, "If you will."
"Where are we going?"
"To get that pretty little neck of yours fixed up."

Vampires were always shown in movies or books and that's all they ever were to the world, fictional. But in a post apocalyptic world that was rebuilt over thousands of years by those very same hands that most thought were strictly fictional, everything changed. The humans were left to be at the mercy of the vampires under the sole ruler of the ruthless King Harry. But after thousands of years of torture and lack of freedom, the humans are ready to fight back.
What happens when the cursed King, poisoned by power and being feared, meets his anecdote named Amara, a family oriented human girl who only desires to marry the love of her life and live free from the vampires who terrify her.
Will love be the world's saving grace by bringing peace amongst every creature or will it finally bring down the ruthless King and restore power to the humans once again?

* Book 1 * "Harry" I said as I ran as fast as I could desperate, excited and overwhelmed. I found him, I actually found him. I picked up my dress a little so I could run, the tears starting gently down my cheek as I start to cry, becoming overwhelmed. I've missed him so much it hurt, but the pain had vanished now that I've seen him. Harry started to run normally towards me like he was desperate to get to me. But as we reach each other, we push our lips onto each others in desperation and need, wrapping my arms around his neck not wanting to let go. Our hips pressed together to connect our whole bodies as we took in the embrace. He continued resting our foreheads together as our gaze was focused on each others gaze. My hands found his cheeks as I took a stolen kiss. "I've missed you so much" I mention exhaling as if I had been holding it in since I left him. The rain was hitting us hard but we were so stuck in the moment, it didn't affect our moment in the slightest. *** One witch, one vampire. Two different astral planes and a forbidden love. With my heels I was 5 feet 10 inches. His intense gaze on me made my chest warm. "You are part of it." The devil said in low voice as he stood next to me. I couldn't move or think for a few moments. His hot breath fell on my neck and it sent a shiver down my spine and make my breath hitch. Stefan Black entered my life. And my life fell into darkness. I am Diana Martin or was. Now, I am Diana Black. I belong to Stefan Black. He owns me. I am leverage, a useless asset to him. If makes my life hard I will make his hell. But, how would I make it work when he has seen worse, done worse. His secrets and past catch up to him. The innocent Diana is between the cross fire. She stands there between K and Stefan. Who will he save? Himself from K's wrath and plans or Diana who fucks up his command every chance she gets. He wants to control her by keeping her in the dark she hates being lied to. The world had gone to hell long ago, taken over by the vampire race. In order to keep some sort of peace in our land, the Vampire Lords made a consecutive agreement. The rich and powerful humans could survive just as they had been, untouched by the vampires save for the occasional blood collection, or so they thought In reality, we were all under their control. Castles spread out throughout our land, one landing in each city. Each castle varied in the number of vampires residing there, but all of them carried a Lord. The Lords were the ones in charge in every city, whether we liked it or not. The vampires often roam through the city, making sure that everyone was in order and no one stepped out of line. If you stepped out of line, you died, end of story. Even if the rich were still under their control, their lives were still better than the poor. The poorest lives held a much worse fate. The men were to be put to work as slaves, whether that meant serving a specific vampire, or just building their castles, they were slaves. The women were to be pets. Pets were the lowest rank you could have. They were forced into cages that were too small to stand in with collars around their necks. They spent their lives in pet shops, just waiting for the dreadful day that they'll be bought. They were treated like animals, trained into what their master wanted, and punished if they misbehaved. Those who were lucky enough to live through that, we're to be slaughtered for their blood at age twenty-five in an act to make sure that our population would stay steady. I was born into this world. Born into this world full of blood-sucking monsters. Except, I was one of the lucky ones. Was. It all ended for me when I was 12, when I was taken away from the last bit of hope and family that I had left.
