After a particularly rough break-up, Pahras Rowe steps down from his superhero team and goes on sabbatical in Amsterdam. His vacation is cut short when his Uncle Gerald Stone arrives with an unexpected visitor, his villainous father, Solomon Stone. The two inform Pahras that the world he has been absent from for months has been turned upside down by their employers, the now villainous DISA agency. DISA has begun brutalizing and entrapping superhuman individuals, like Pahras, known as Evos. Worse still, DISA has captured the love of Pahras' life. 

Pahras and the Stones, with a group of new and old friends, set off right away to unravel the truth behind DISA's unceremonious attack on superhumans. Pahras' mission places him on a course to unearth a plot thousands of years in the making orchestrated by a man, who is always a step ahead of them. Just when things couldn't get worse, Pahras' powers are replaced by an incandescent golden energy that seems to obey his every wish...sometimes.

In this reimagined version Wattpad edition of Queeroes, it's been really liberating to reflect Troy's autism more intentionally (even though Troy hasn't figured out yet :). It's also been a joy to include diversity in ways that reflect this wondrous world. Chad's Latinx (and just as sassy as ever), Troy's younger sibling, Gabi, is adopted from the First Nation neighboring the small town of Nuffim, is non-binary, and way more brash and confident than in the original books. Now, Gabi often steals the show. Like the original Queeroes novels, the Wattpad edition is Smallville meets Buffy with odes of Queers As Folk and American Horror story as a group of small town queer teens get powers and face a villainous shadow that forces them to face their darkest fears to become their truest selves! No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride.
