Laila (Reborn Trilogy, Book I)

Laila is a sweet, teenage girl who was born with the "Alexandria Genesis", a rare syndrome that turned her eyes violet, making her the perfect target for the cruellest children in her school. Luzen is one of the greatest soul collectors in the underworld, he has carried thousands of souls through his millennial existence, always keeping a neutral, distant attitude towards life and death, until that unfortunate night, when he met a beautiful young girl with a strange wish.

Damian is a novice angel who has had a deep hatred for human beings throughout his life. He firmly believes that human beings do not deserve the love and admiration that archangels have for them, after seeing how much they hurt, betray and kill each other for unreasonable motives. He wants nothing to do with these violent and primitive beings, but everything takes a turn, when Archangel Michael, his immediate superior, assigns him an important mission that Damien cannot simply refuse.

Three paths come together in this dark, romantic and heartwarming love story, where Laila will learn that, despite the ups and downs, life can be beautiful, and she will shine again, like a phoenix, raising from her ashes once and once again.
