Madelyn and Jackson, couldn't be more different but so alike. Maybe that is what draws them to the other. Madelyn Senior year, fresh starts, new beginnings, not so hard. Last year before I can finally leave and not turn back around. The past can finally stay behind me, and I can finally start moving on. It's about me this year, that was until he showed back up asking for a second chance. Jackson Last year, one more championship to win and then I have my pick at whatever college. No room for distractions, although I've never had a problem with not being distracted. Then I ran into her again, after years of pretending not to know her anymore. "Just stay, you've seen it yourself even with all the bad that has happened, you still found the good" He stared into my eyes almost pleading with my own for me to stay. I wasn't sure I could anymore. "Ok" I saw a small smile reach his lips before he bent down and kissed my forehead. "You should get some rest" and with that I closed my eyes and let the darkness consume me. WARNING: some scenes in the book have violence or underage drinking/smoking, if you are uncomfortable for this i do not recommend reading, or skipping those scenes *I take no credit for the cover picture*

Cherish The Moments We Had Together A Story of Second Chances and New Beginnings When Ethan Collins is uprooted from everything familiar-his hometown, his friends, his girlfriend-and transplanted to Westwood in the middle of junior year, he's convinced his life is over. Armed with bitter resentment and a long-distance relationship he's determined to maintain, he arrives at Westwood High expecting nothing but misery. What he finds instead is a world that refuses to let him wallow. There's Andy, the effortlessly charismatic athlete who won't take no for an answer. Dayna Prescott, the mysterious "Westwood royalty" who seems to have her own agenda. And a cast of characters who all seem to know who he is before he's even introduced himself-courtesy of his surgeon mother's growing legend and his lawyer father's rising star. Ethan doesn't want a fresh start. He wants his old life back. But as boxes get unpacked and unfamiliar hallways become navigable, he begins to realize that maybe-just maybe-being forced to rebuild isn't the end of his story. It might be the beginning of something he never knew he needed. This is a story about the messy reality of starting over. About the guilt of moving forward when part of you wants to stay stuck. About discovering that sometimes the worst thing that can happen to you opens the door to the best thing you never saw coming. Not every ending is an ending. Sometimes it's just an uncomfortable new chapter. Disclaimer: This work is a completely original piece of fiction.
