Dear beloved wanderer, It is with great pride and pleasure that I extend a formal invitation to you for a worldwide expedition. I plan to travel the globe over the span of a single year, you see, and I am in desperate need of company. If you accept this offer, then be aware that we shall be experiencing more celebrations than most have in their lifetime. Even though each one is merely a bite-sized sample, they pack more punch than you may be able to handle. However, I know you love a challenge, so I do hope you consider this opportunity. I would advise you dress up in comfortable garments as you dance your heart out for Cinco de Mayo, get your hands dirty while planting trees, and let the aroma of hot cocoa waft under your nose as Christmas music plays softly in the background. I had survived the first. That was then; this is now. The blindfold of so many pills slowly died away and first though my finger then my head, a passion, a hurt and a need filled me as every moment was consumed with words; every breath with wisps of ink. But they were not all captured and somewhere in the deep abyss of living, lies the unspoken, almost unfelt feelings of decades in months.
