A story about y/n and the avengers, but with a twist. This takes place before Infinity war, so in 2018, but it's 2020 in y/n's reality. (you'll understand)

I got my inspiration from @mcu_stories3000_ on tiktok. Although it isn't the same as their POV I still thought I'd give creds.
When y/n wakes up one morning with an insanely real dream, she realizes she's one in a million. She can jump between universes when she's unconscious, and has made it her routine to visit her favourite universe, Marvel 'Cinematic' Universe, which she grew up watching on TV, thinking it was a made up story.
While there, she realizes that different realities give her different... abilities.
Meanwhile, back on her home universe, y/n tries to subtly bring up her newfound powers to her best friend, but she's coined as crazy.
Time goes by and she begins to believe her friend. She starts visiting the Avengers less and less.
But what happens when Thanos shows up and y/n is the Avenger's last hope? Will she know to return? Will she believe it isn't all in her head?=

He walks in with an easy smile and a white man steps in just behind him with dark blue eyes and near black brown waves that fall to his shoulders.
