The Blacks want to marry off their youngest child. He begs Sirius for help and tells him a secret: He is a man and would rather die than be forced to be anyone's wife. Panicked, Sirius arranges a marriage between his brother and his friend James Potter, knowing that Regulus can be the man he is in the English countryside in James' estate, which is a sort of safe haven for homosexual servants who are running from the law or are already convicted. James wants to ensure Regulus' happiness, even at the expense of putting his life on hold for a while. Regulus wants to ensure James doesn't fall into societal ruin because of him. Sirius just wants to help. And Remus is just a very tired butler who watches James and Regulus dance around their actual feelings (literally). (Trans Reggie; set in the Victorian Age, 1890s. This idea just popped into my head sorry if it's bad. Regulus saves James. Jegulus. Love between the two and the dramatic parting. It's better than the description I hope. I don't own these characters but the idea did come to my mind by itself sorry if it's already around. Word count: 10 610Terminé

"Do you swear it?" Regulus looks deep into James' eyes, waiting for the faltering, but there is none. "I swear it," he says, gripping Regulus' arm tighter. There's a moment of silence, and then it is James who twists their arms, locking the charm in place. Not that either of them will remember it the following day, drunk as they are. -------- James and Regulus get really drunk and make an unbreakable vow. James swears that Regulus will be in love with him by the end of the year, and Regulus swears not to push him away and make him try. When they wake up the following day, they remember nothing of it. But everyone knows what happens if you don't go through with it, so they can do nothing but try to recall and respect their drunken promises or be met by sweet old death. As if this wasn't enough, their everyday problems seem to double by the minute. Between the vow and life as a student, It's about to be a hell of a year.Terminé

Let's rewind... It's 1976 and Regulus is returning for his fifth year at Hogwarts. With one of the worst summers of his life behind him, he's slightly glad to be back at the castle. Regulus is looking forward to a relaxing year spent focusing on his studies and lounging in the library. Only, Regulus' plans are derailed after runs into (quite literally) the one and only James Potter. It seems passing the year is the least of Regulus' problems- with the dark lord's influence growing into his inner circle, new blossoming feelings for his brother's best friend who he should hate, and a prank that goes too far. He knows Sirius would be furious. But he also knows that the curiosity of the forbidden and the allure of secrets make him feel alive. Once actions are taken, they cannot be undone. "Things are really great they way they are at the moment, and I don't want to do anything to mess it up," Severus said slowly. He kept his head steady, eyes fixed out at a star low on the horizon.
