Nala and her mother Sarafina are banished from the Pridelands in the short moments Mufasa staggers up from the stampede. They travel to the mountains, where they join a leap of snow leopards. There Nala experiences Heartbreak and love, though, in the end, she goes back to save the Pridelands. But Nala can't forget the past, and she must be strong enough to overcome it.
