When a virus breaks across planet 29, everyone must get the immunity. Zahara gets her immunity just like everyone else. The next morning, she notices that her family is acting rather strangely. It's not just her family, though. Her neighbor. Her best friend. Everyone on the planet has been affected with something. Well everyone except Zahara.

A virus is was what caused our world to break, what caused the good to become the bad. Kids were being hunted down and captured for this gift that was given to them by that virus. It's been seven years. Parents tried to hide them, but they got killed and took the gifted. No child was safe, from five year olds to basically eighteen. It's the apocalypse for us. The Touch of Infection
Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. The apocalypse was caused by an alien raise coming to earth and proclaiming they'll fix the planet. Their way to 'fix' it being destroying humanity with a plague. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry. Becoming Them: A Zombie Novel

And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in.
