She sat looking at the big mirror blushing and thinking about her groom, she didn't even know his name. She eagerly waited for him to come and take her with him to his home, to their home. She was thinking what he would say, what his voice sounded like, what he would call her and how would she react to his actions. The things which she had never imagined in her life about marriage, home, romance, relationship etc., she was thinking about it all today. She hears the door open and she closes her eyes, her head bowed down, cheeks blushed while her chest heaved up and down due to heavy breathing. She hears a voice talking to her from a bit far. She had her back to him. "Hi, Thanks a lot. If you hadn't come, then I would have been on the streets. You really did a good job. The director was impressed with your improvisation though the role was small." She was confused, what is her groom speaking about. She opens her eyes and turns around to see him. Her face falls, it was not her husband. He hands an envelope to her and thanks her before he leaves. She takes the envelope still confused. She thinks - Oh! This must be a wedding gift from his friend. But what was he speaking about, I couldn't understand anything ... Marriage was not on her list but when it happened, it happened in a strange way. Read the book to understand how is this a strange marriage and how would this ever work. *Fictional story Was listed at #1 under SidNaaz on 21st Jan, 2021.. happiest day!! Falling, Still
"What does it mean to love someone who doesn't love you back? To wait, to hope, to wonder if love can change the way the stars align?" This is not just a story,it's a journey. A raw, intimate recollection of love that bloomed in silence, of moments that lingered too long in the spaces between friendship and something more. It's about patience, about the ache of wanting, and the quiet magic of the unexpected. But this isn't a tragedy. This is a love story. A story of persistence, of quiet longing turned into something real;of two souls finding their way to each other against all odds. Some love stories are loud, written in fireworks and grand gestures. This one was whispered..written in stolen glances, unsaid words, and the kind of love that waits. If you've ever loved, lost, or wondered what it means to hold on-this is for you.
