From the remnants of a destroyed nation an ancient evil arises, by the hands of the powerful conjurer Castor. Zoth, the god of corruption is pleased by his awakening and offers his summoner the gift of immortality. But before such a gift can be bestowed Castor is instructed to collect a series of artifacts to ensure Zoth's freedom. With a fleet of soulless soldiers at his command, Castor sets his eyes to the icy plains of the north to obtain the final key for Zoth's release. In the north there is but one who opposes him and the hellish god he represents. His name is Valder, a young hunter and the son of a legend. But what good are his weapons against magic? With a mind drowned by doubt Valder is forced to leave all he knows and seek the help of an old warlord and his mighty fighters. The threads of destiny are intertwined and the key to the world lays within its balance.

What happens when narration becomes magic and monsters become stories? When meaning crumbles beneath the whispers of tales, and certainties drown in the din of words, truth wears a thousand faces at the windows of night. Survive. When the untold fades, and the unseen is lost. Endure. As kingdoms fall and life ebbs away, as souls awaken only to cage themselves within the lines of pages. Fight. For what remains is a silent longing to wake again, upon the shores of a dream unborn. ------------------------------------------------------------ A multi-character fantasy tale set in a world that has forgotten how to define itself, where eras chase one another in confusion. Knights confront the unknown, detectives battle dragons, and vampires raise dogs. The stars are wrathful, the kingdoms have fallen, and magic stands stripped bare. ---------------------------------------------------------------- For those who do not like indirect suggestion: A cruel, innovative magic system A dark fantasy that blends classic fantasy, horror, and the supernatural. Long story and slow build (although you can judge it in the second chapter) Multiple characters and a big world Exploiting (inspiration from) myths, epics and legends in worldbuilding Legends from all over the world: Europe, Africa, America, Middle East, Australia, Asia, Ireland etc. Mystery, investigation, and the need to analyze, focus, and use your knowledge and abilities to reach conclusions and form your opinion before the characters do (you are part of the investigation, not just the characters) Warning: "Contains graphic violence" "Not suitable for children"

*COMPLETE* There are whispers across the kingdoms that the Paragon, that strangely gifted person who can wield all four Skills, has been found. They're wrong, of course. No one has caught the Paragon. Allayria should know: she's it. But Allayria doesn't want to be the Paragon, and in her pursuit of freedom she finds herself enmeshed in a web of lies, caught in a group who might be even more dangerous than she could have imagined. Still, she's not the only one who has problems: bigger tides of change and danger are shifting across the world she has been assigned to protect. The Jarles, a kingdom in the east, has begun moving across its borders, and there are strange murmurings about what they have done, and where all the children they abducted have gone. Faced with responsibilities she never wanted, and a life she thought she could never have, Allayria must decide how she will help--and if she will be the Paragon at all. _____________________ WIP Cover art and written work by Azi. "Everyone loves a good fantasy, but my life was turned upside down by one." What would you do if you had the ability to control the air? How about if you were suddenly brought to a world where, despite your powers, you're at the bottom of the food chain? On a fateful night, Max Walker finds himself summoned to Asterisk and contracted to Liliana Lockwood as her familiar. Forced to leave behind his life on Earth, Max begins a precarious journey into the unknown world of magic. Training as a knight, learning to control mana, battling rogue necromancers and even being mistaken for Duke Walker's son... it's just one thing after the next. But as if that wasn't bad enough, Asterisk, a world which subverts reality as you know it, may just have something to do with Max's own heaven-defying origin... and a secret that could leave the universe hanging by a thread. Fifty years ago, demons invaded the mortal realm of Dargon, leaving a trail of destruction across the five kingdoms. The six Guardians of that generation united the kingdoms and fought back against the demons, scattering their ashes to the winds. Then, they vanished into legend, and with them, their powers. When the lost powers awaken in six strangers across the mortal realm once again, they seek answers... What danger has compelled the powers to reappear after half a century of peace? There are rumours that another demon army gathers in the fiery realm of the Abyss, greater than the first and led by a cunning mastermind whose motivations are unknown. But something doesn't add up. 28 parts Complete

War is coming... yet no one knows. The Deplorable festers in his anger, his rage newly ignited as one of his own suddenly betrays him, rocking him to his core. He seethes alone, waiting... For five hundred years, dragons and men have been isolated from each other, becoming mortal enemies after a bloody war tore apart their once peaceful alliance. They have spoken ill of each other ever since, the tales of their momentous battle warped by storytellers for generation upon generation. Cyrus leaves behind everything he's ever known, his family, his home, his village. He ventures out on his own with nothing more than a mangy old pack mule at his side. He dreams of wealth and riches, of stability and endless feasts, and he hopes to find work as he ventures out into the wilds of Crasmere. However, his plans take an abrupt turn when he is ambushed by monsters only found in one's deepest nightmares and, when he feels all hope is lost... something saves him. A creature no one has seen in five centuries. A creature many have presumed to have died long ago, gone extinct and wiped from the land all together. A creature said to thirst for blood and raw flesh, a beast with a roar to deafen all. A dragon.
