Kayden has never known what was going on in life. The difference now? At 16, he knows the things he doesn't know are going on could be really bad. Not like when he was little.
When he was little he could be oblivious.
When he was little he didn't know his mom was bad.
When he was little he was perfectly happy living with Nana and Pop-Pop because mommy had to get better.

But when he was little, he was a she.

Things are different now though. He's trans, gay and very proud of it. He lives with his dad and his dad's cool girlfriend. Though what happens when he falls in love with some absolute soulmate material from his varsity theater class, Alexis Underwood, and gets rejected HARDCORE? Well he still finds ways to be around Alexis, and they end up being.. kinda friends? Kayden's not sure. They start to tell eachother everything but Alexis keeps acting stand-offish and weird. There's one conversation they have that kinda changes things cuz frankly Kayden passed pretty well. Noone really knew he was trans at his new school. Not even Alexis.

And then the acting agency calls.

They've seen some minor stuff Kayden's done; commercials, small roles on TV, extras in movies. They want him to star in this new upcoming movie, a huge new Hollywood production in the works.

But it's a romance movie. A gay romance. And his costar is after him and H-O-T.

How is he supposed to choose between Alexis, the dark, sexy boy-back-home who he can't keep off his mind, or costar Francis Hall, the up-and-coming movie star with godly looks and heavy feelings for Kayden?
