Adella receives a mission from the leader of her coven. A mission she's been waiting for since the day her parents were killed. Kill the vampire who killed them. During her attempt to find him, she's kidnapped and turned over to Kaius, the vampire who killed her parents. While having to live with him, she attempts to get closer to him, to make him trust her in order to try to kill him. Little does she know, Kaius already knows she's there to kill him and he has no intention of stopping her.
While Adella has spent her years training to kill Kaius. Kaius has spent his years in guilt after killing her parents. All he wants is for her to live. In some way this is his way of alleviating some of that guilt, taking care of her. If killing him is what will make her forgive him and move past their deaths, then he fully intends to let her do that.
Will Adella be able to kill him or will she see there's more than the killer she'd known and thought he was? What questions will be answered? What truths will be told?
