How easy can it be to forget the terrible things that happened to you? Difficult--that's what Emma Wolfram learned over the passed three months.

After her torturous encounter with a young man who happened to be the younger sibling of a comrade she failed to save, she's continuously plagued with never-ending nightmares. She even bears the deep scars that she wished weren't on her body.

Levi Ackerman had saved Emma that night, and nor can he forget about it. The feelings and emotions he bears for Emma are still raw and unknown. Though, his primal instincts tell him to keep Emma near and safe. And if that means keeping her away from the world and others then so be it.

Yet, despite their personal battles, bigger things are occurring. The Scout Regiment faces uncanny obstacles and an increasing negative reputation. It seems their disbandment is not far off. But Emma will do anything alongside Erwin Smith to keep the Scouts in the military and fight for her dream.

Despite his impressive reputation as, Humanity's Strongest, Levi feels different. Somehow he must persuade Emma to give up on her dreams--it would keep her safe.

Both will clash once again, their ideals put on the line. Their relationship put to the test. However one thing is for sure; whatever choice they make will affect them and everyone around them. Committing a single mistake though can wreck havoc.

Can they salvage their newly found relationship? Or destroy it all?
