The Monster Hunting Blacksmith

Monster... a term used in a literal and non-literal sense but in this world it's all to literal, they run rampant in the streets and wilderness, everything from werewolves and vampires to legendary creatures like Minotaurs. All have one thing in common... their love of hunting humans wether for sport or food they will stop at nothing to have their fill. But not all hope is lost during the years of a time called "The Great Hunt" where monsters attempted to capture humans to keep them as pets, cattle, or let loose on land to be hunted, a new generation of human was found one with fantastical powers like super strength, lightning control, or taking the appearance and abilities of the monsters they've beaten or if your not lucky enough to be born with a power their is the option of magic a universal ability anyone that studies it can use. To properly harness these powers a new school system was made a school that teaches the different types of monsters and their weaknesses, as well as a place for students to train their abilities or magic to one day become a licensed Hunter, a person that gets paid by the government to kill monsters that attack cities and threaten human lives. But not everyone thinks that they should have to go to school to learn to get a license and they decided to form parties to hunt them illegally, they are called poachers, and seal the parts on the black market. This is the story of one such individual who decides to leave the poaching life behind and do things legitimately follow the story of the renowned "Monster Hunting Blacksmith"
