Five best friends grew up in the small town of Glistamoore, a place where everyone knows each other's uncles. Every summer, the townspeople show up to their carnivals seasonal summer Fourth of July show. It has become a tradition full of laughter, fun, and love for many families and friends. These best friends may appear to be carefree and full of light, but not all is what meets the eye. Every person hides a secret, but no one talks about their problems. With the mayor looking to spice things up and make changes to the amusement park, this stirs up some chaos. A devasting accident leaves the mayor dead, though rumors spark that his death was not an accident at all. The tragedy rocked their community, confusion and wonder swirling in the air. People can not seem to get over the fact that something sinister has happened, but was a crime committed? It is up to these teenagers to find out, but at what cost? With conflict drawing near, hearts to soar, and drama on the rise, what will happen next? With a story so deep and touching, hearts will break, and friendships will change. Taken in the summer of 2012, this is a summer no one will ever forget.
