Intertwined

Season 5, Episode 18 (Intervention). After being through the hell Glorificus put him through, Spike was returned home, to heal and whatnot. Later, he and Buffy shared a sweet unexpected kiss. Now they may have experienced slightly different things in that moment, and that's worth a read. But what would have happened if they didn't kiss and Buffy stayed with Spike a bit longer?
