(Y/n) (L/n) was supposed to participate in the entrance exams with her friend, Kyoka Jiro, to get into UA High School but a sudden family tragedy resulted in (Y/n) withdrawing her application. However, principal Nezu is impressed with her profile so he offers (Y/n) the chance to take a separate exam to join Class 1-C. But with a broken heart, (Y/n) rejects this generous offer.

Nevertheless, after All Might's unexpected retirement, (Y/n) knows this will bring a time of fear and chaos. So she contacts principal Nezu to try and join UA one more time and to (Y/n)'s relief, he allows her to take the exam which she easily passes.

Before Class 1-A enters the Provisional Hero License Exam, their homeroom teacher Shota Aizawa is curious to see how (Y/n)'s Quirk can be used to prepare Class 1-A. Since this could help her get into the hero course, (Y/n) trains with Class 1-A who struggle to bring her down. Except for two students who make (Y/n) very nervous, especially since one of them can read her so easily.
