She isn't who she seems to be and exactly that was her secret.

A boy with a dark past.
A boy that seems like a fuckboy.
A boy that has black hair which is as dark as his past.
A boy that is an assassin.

Marcella's two fathers are assassins, so are her brother, her cousins, her aunts,..you could actually say that her whole family were assassins. But things changed. The job got way more dangerous, complicated and bloody. Marcella means a lot to her family so they didn't let her become an assassin too. 
Her both fathers Valentino and Marc were partners in crime so they don't have mich time for her but when they are at home and have time, they spent it with her. 
They love her and so does she.

The whole family is rich. 
Why?
Oh..because they are the best at their job.
If they had any enemies?
No. They killed all of them. Or at least that's what they thought.



On Marcella's 18th birthday her parents gave her her own assassin to kill people so she didn't have to.

And of course...he had to be a hot twenty year old boy.
