If there has been one thing Aurora Sparks has learnt about magic, it's that it's worlds more complicated and unpredictable than textbooks made it out to be. 

Without the Vortex of magic there to save her this time, and the war on the cusp on erupting, how will she make it out this time? And is making it back to a timeline she missed out on ever going to be a possibility.
