They thought vampires, shapeshifters, merfolks, sorcerer and sorceress are just fairytales made by the creative imagination of a desperate-for-commission writer or a drunken man whose so out of his wits in his path the other night, that he mistook a dog transforming into a man. Something written and told only to scare the little children into following their parents. Something that is only seen in the movies. Something that is simply, NOT REAL.
The world is ruled by supernatural entities making humans at the very bottom of the food chain. Making them so vulnerable to the horrors brought by these new villains.
Nobody ever thought that humans will lose The Great Battle.
Nobody ever thought that humans would be hunted.
Nobody ever thought that humans would be devoured.
Nobody ever thought that humans will be stripped off of their rights and be enslaved.
Nobody even thought that a mere human will catch the attention of the most evil, vile, wicked creature ever walked on Earth. THE MAD KING.
And once he set his eyes on those beautiful hazelnut eyes, he knows that shits would be going down.
