Dream is a trainer for the new initiates of the Dauntless faction. He is however, a Divergent with supernatural powers, and what's worse, his rival trainer Technoblade doesn't know. In fact, Dream's not even sure if Techno knows anything about Divergents at all, beyond the fact that the faction leaders believe them to be dangerous. For five years, Dream has spent his time trying to save new Divergent initiates from an untimely death at the hands of a corrupt government, but when a new initiate class arrives and there are more divergents than ever before, he knows that something more drastic needs to be done to help them before it's too late. Falling in love with one of his initiates was never part of the plan, and for Jord, falling in love with her trainer wasn't on the cards either. But love doesn't wait for perfect timing, and especially for two Divergents, it's a sink or swim situation.
