Athena had to escape she couldn't hide in the forest forever, as much as she would have wanted to. That is why when Dumbledore offered for her to enrol in 7th year at Hogwarts for protection in exchange for joining the order, she jumped at it.
She is hiding her secrets, but what happens when a certain dark brooding professor becomes intrigued by his new student.
*btw I'm not really great at this but i had this idea in a boring English lesson and thought why the hell not, might be a slow burn might not haha
