We all have a "if only" in our lifes. Somebody that could have been, and stayed at the door without getting inside. A spark that couldn't find where to turn into flame and turned off instead. Somebody that's hanging of your memories, and from time to time provokes an "if only".
But it wasn't, and it will never be.
Wilbur met someone at the last place he would have thought he would do so, and he makes him feel a lot of curiosity. Dream likes talking with Wilbur, but, he doesn't want to cut short their distance ¿Why? ¿What will Wilbur do? ¿Can they have their happy ending, or will their story end up in tragedy?
Dream, a patience in hospital that feels alone.
Wilbur, a curious person with a lot free time.

Apples of the Earth
In a far-off land, there exists a world where impossible can happen, dreams can come true, and magic is real. A place where chunks of cement can float in the sky and where an endless waterfall can be put in a bucket. A place that calls itself the Overworld. So many things never possible before are possible. There's golden idols that can prevent death when held, teloportation, and so much more. There's creatures you couldn't imagine and hybrids of them as well. This mystical land has some of the most incredible people. A man who can not die. A girl who can summon terrifying beings. A boy who can create infinite cake. Children who are as efficient with many weapons as assassins in our world are. Ghosts who roam the world they once walked. This world has it all. And nearly all illnesses can be healed simply from a fruity melon drink and an apple of gold. Everyone can die 3 times, too. Some even more, for a boy with other worldly abilities has the ability to bring them back. And yet, not everything can be healed. Some people die and stay dead. This is a younger DSMP fanfic. It's also my first, so please go easy on me. SBI but mainly for early plot. Much of it will align with canon to some extent, but not all will. THIS IS ANGST. My goal is tears. His eyes, usually dull and sad, were ablaze with anger and hatred. He was done with Dream, he was done letting people hurt him, he was done with L'manburg and how much pain that place alone had brought him. "It's a place that only holds sorrow and fear now, Tommy." Wilbur had said, his brown eyes dull as he spoke. "It's brought grief even to us, hasn't it." Wilbur looked at Tommy before he continued. "It's not the place I built, L'manburg not the place that you and I loved." How right Tommy realized Wilbur was. The place he had once called home was no more than a breeding house for the chaos and sadness that now plagued the SMP. He wished he hadn't been so blind in the beginning, listened to Wilbur. But he had hoped that L'manburg wasn't a lost cause, that what he had fought so hard for was still salvageable. But he knew that L'manburg was always meant to fall, and they had only delayed it's downfall. "I-I'm sorry Wilbur... I should have listened to you."
